Clarisoft Coding Routes
Unity introduces Coding Routes.
Coding Routes provide the coder with guidelines for code selection during the process of coding a separation. These guidelines take the form of one or more of the following:
- Questions directed to the coder to determine whether or not a specific code should be used
- Quick lists based on the presence or absence of other codes in the code string
- Automatic / optional replacement of codes based on the response to questions
- Addition or removal of codes based on evaluation of codes
These Coding Routes provide assistance to the coder when coding both difficult and standard separations.
Experienced coders have the option to turn the Coding Routes on or off in order to facilitate less interruption to their normal coding process and allow them to skip over the questions that may normally not be necessary for specific scenarios.
Coding Routes are disabled for all Auditing as audit coding a separation should not be directed by a computer generated script.
