 Clarisoft AR-DRG v9.0 (Update) Grouper Certified

 

Clarisoft is very pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the required certification for the new AR-DRG v9.0 Grouper. This is now available for purchase from Clarisoft as a Command Line Executable as well as Windows™ integrated grouper which includes a trial coding screen and Batch Grouper - C-Grouper.

 

 Clarisoft Supplies Lithuania

 

Clarisoft is very pleased to announce that it is the supplier of AR-DRG v8.0 Grouper technology and software to the VLK of Lithuania servicing in excess of 85 hospitals. Clarisoft and its partner Algoritmu Sistemos were successful in winning the contract against the other major Australian Grouper vendor.

 

 SA Health Licenses Docpay

 

Over the last few months, Clarisoft has been working with SA Health to implement its Docpay solution at Port Augusta Hospital as it migrated to ePAS in December 2013. We are pleased to announce that Clarisoft has finalised its five year agreement with Country Health SA and Docpay is now operational at this first Country Health SA facility following its migration to ePAS. Although the entire process was handled exceptionally well by the SA Health team members, with all the integration issues resolved, future implementations are assured to be significantly streamlined.

 

 Clarisoft Announces New Partnership

 

Clarisoft is very pleased to announce its new partnership with The Coding Company Middle East.

Our relationship will provide Medical facilities across the Middle East with the Coding, Grouping, and Costing tools to improve and implement these requirements.

 AR-DRG Version 7.0 Grouper Available

 

Clarisoft will be releasing its AR-DRGv7.0 Grouper from June 1, 2013. If you would like your copy of this Grouper for Free, Clarisoft will supply it with unity(CQI). the combination of these two products will enable you to check your coding quality and after you make any necessary changes, re-group your data for reporting.

 

 

 Clarisoft to launch Unity for 8th Edition

 

Unity is receiving its final touches in preparation for its launch to coincide with the commencement of 8th Edition coding here in Australia from July, 2013. There has been a significant amount of work completed on the product since its first public beta release in late 2012. Some of the changes include providing unity as a Coding Quality Management tool ONLY. This can now be done by installing CQI Mode unity. You can also install Audit Mode unity as an alternative providing you with everything you need for Auditing without the expense of the full coding functionality.With both CQI and Audit Modes, it is not required to build an interface to you HIS as the unity Outputs are not returned to that system. This means you can be up and running with either system in an hour or too - and the cost is significantly less!

 

 Docpay to go "Viral" in Victoria

 

Clarisoft is very pleased to announce that its Premier Provider Payment Software - Docpay - is to be distributed across 71 hospitals in Rural Victoria. The software will be modified to provide a specific need that has been identified for those hospitals and will be available in early 2014.

 

 Clarisoft in Saudi Arabia

 

In early 2012, Clarisoft signed an agreement with The Excellence, an organisation providing Training and Coding services across the Kingdom. The Excellence is the exclusive provider of HIMAA based HIM and Coder Training programs within Saudi Arabia. Clarisoft is making its Clinical Coding Assistant available to The Excellence for the purpose of assisting its ICD-10-AM Coder Training within Saudi Arabia.

 

 Clarisoft in Greece

 

With all the turmoil in Greece over recent times, the IMF/EU collaboration has asserted its support for much needed Health Reform. The requirement across Greece is for the implementation of a DRG based management and cost control system. Clarisoft is currently working with lead consultants in Greece to deliver an appropriate founding software solution to facilitate the introduction of the AR-DRG in Greece. This will pave the way for associated ICD-10-AM Coding expertise requirements.

 

 Clarisoft in United States of America

 

Currently in the USA, coding is completed using ICD9-CM. The country is moving to ICD10-CM and unity is ready for that move. Currently for the USA, the product can be supplied with both coding versions and the appropriate forward and backward mappings installed. This allows coders to code using ICD9-CM and see the mapped codes for ICD10-CM. Conversely, when coding input changes to ICD10-CM, unity will use the ICD10-CM input but also display the backward mapped ICD9-CM code. With the CM Grouper nearing completion for unity, American coders will be able to see the Grouping results as well while they code. The current release for unity (CM) is due out in January 2013.
